[Pubs are one of the best places for annoying people, Nathan's found. Not to mention they have the added bonus of serving alcohol. Naturally, that's exactly where he is this fine visitor's day. ]

So, last time was pretty fun. Nice to see the deities haven't forgotten how much fun overcrowding can be. Hey, AIDs Girl. Whatever you're called. You get stuck back here? I'll buy you a drink. [He waves his pint glass at the screen enticingly, as if to prove it.] I think I found some sturdier cubicles than the last time.

[He starts in on his pint again, looking as though he's about to turn off the feed. But never let it be said that Nathan forgets his friends. He raises his eyebrows, putting his drink down abruptly.]

Oh, yeah! Barry. Alisha's here this time, so you should probably stop hanging around outside pubs seeing who you can take advantage of and go and find her. I bet she's been dying for whatever equivalent to a shag you two have going.

[It's hard to spot a familiar face on days like this, but Nathan sees her. He drops onto the bench next to her, ignoring the protest the man already next to her gives when he ends up half on his lap, half wedged uncomfortably on the bench.]

[The man with a Nathan in his lap looks at Charlie as though he were asking for help. Charlie just raised an eyebrow at him, a 'what do you want me to do?' expression on her face. Nathan gets a smile.]

Loads. So much fun. I don't think anything can top how much fun I'm having right now. You?

Not at this moment. This guy is really uncomfortable.

[Nathan wriggles, throwing the guy he's sitting on a disgusted look.] Aren't you still here?

He does look a bit bony. [Charlie shoots the man an apologetic look and the man swears, finally wriggling out from under Nathan and storming off.] You're a goof. You know this, right?

[Nathan sighs in exasperation as the guy finally leaves, settling into his vacated spot.] Thank you.

I needed a seat. What else was I supposed to do?

I hear the phrase 'excuse me' works wonders. [Charlie nods slightly as if this were sage advice.]

[Charlie just rolls her eyes slightly before tilting her head a bit to the crowd.] Run into anyone familiar, yet? From where you're from, I mean.

Nope. Not a one. [She's relieved, smiling slightly.] I'm hoping it stays that way.

Not me. My parents are dead. If they showed up, it'd have to be from a point before then and since they died when I was young, there'd be a lot of explaining that I would regret doing.
