Well, that was touching. Almost like having the good old days back, when Barry would creep around after me filming everything. I mean, this obviously looks like a much steadier hand, but that whole stalker-vibe's still there.

Really, though. Nostalgia makes you feel a whole lot fuzzier when you don't come from a total shit heap. Sorry, City, but try again. 5/10.

The headphones were a nice touch. Did the battery run out?

Yeah. I'd been without it a while when I finally got dug out. I don't think it was even at full power. Whoever put it in with me clearly wasn't thinking properly.

I guess it was more the idea of the thing, rather than actually being realistic about it. I mean, it's not like anyone probably expected you to care much that it wasn't at full power.

Yeah, still. Kind of puts a downer on it when you wake up with your iPod, then it dies a few hours later.

How did you get there, anyway?

Well, I don't know. I assume someone found my body and decided it would be a good idea to bury it. Surprisingly, I'm not exactly clear on the specifics.

I meant how did you die?

Oh. I fell off the roof of a building.

That's it? How far?

One storey? I mean, yeah, okay, it doesn't sound that far, but ending up impaled by a fence isn't exactly beneficial to your health.

You could've mentioned the impaled part from the beginning. I would've been quicker to believe that one.

Yeah, but then you'd have been wondering how I got impaled. Odds are you still wouldn't have believed me.

If you'd started off with impaling and then mentioned that you were impaled by falling off of a roof, I'm pretty sure I'd believe you. More than falling one story. I've fallen way more than that.
