They really should have curses like this more often.

[There's a pause as he thinks on that one.] Or maybe curses that are a little more fulfilling. There are only so many times a man can take being left high and dry, you know.

[Long after that bar scene happens, Angela finds herself sitting at a bright orange table in a local--to the City anyway--burger chain, picking at her salad. She's trying to behave and eat her veggies before her meat and dessert, but it's hard man.

People actually buy salad from these places? I always thought the whole point was to be as unhealthy as humanly possible.

[Nathan might not be affected, but Lockdown sure is! And an expert tracker like him has no problems with finding his new favorite meatbag in the shopping district. He parks and switches on his holoform, slowly creeping up behind Nathan and clasping a strong hand on his shoulder.]

[Nathan screams and tries to twist away. His immediate thought is that a security guard has noticed his less than subtle theft of some chocolate bars and a novelty pen he picked up for the hell of it. Lockdown... really isn't much of an improvement.]

[So this is totally after the bar because she's too young to be in a bar. She's just wandering around the City boredly when she spots someone she pesters quite a bit over the Network.

[Nathan is idly observing passersby and enjoying a cigarette when she taps his shoulder.] Oh, hey.

[He takes another quick drag, then offers the cigarette over to her. Because obviously that's an acceptable thing to give to give to a 13 year old.] You know, so far as pick up lines go, that's pretty bad. Even I wouldn't go for that one.

[Buffy successfully rides her motorcycle to the bar, parks it and manages to get the kickstand down without dropping the bike or injuring herself or anyone else. It's cause for celebration so once inside the bar, she orders a Jameson and glances over at the guy sitting at the bar next to her. She smiles at him.]

I've got a motorcycle and I managed to get here without doing the crashing thing.

[Oh to hell with explaining her small victories, she grabs him by his shirt front, pulls him to her--rather violently. It's Buffy. It's all very violent--and kisses him.]

[Nathan's drinking his pint when the blonde chick next to him decides to talk to him. He smirks, about to make some sort of snarky comment when she grabs him and kisses him.

Not that he's complaining about being cut off. He's rather enthusiastic, actually, and kisses back. Just as well he's used to violent women already, even if they aren't usually quite as strong as Buffy.]
